Boise State University (7-4-1) is home for the first time in six weeks when they host Louisiana Tech University and Utah State University this weekend to open Western Athletic Conference play. The Broncos have not played at home since a 2-2 draw with Weber State University on Aug. 31. They have spent the last five weeks or nine consecutive matches on the road, they went 5-4-0 during that stretch.

Kellen Moore earned his second Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award following his performance against Louisiana Tech on Oct. 1.

BRONCO GAME AT SOUTHERN MISS TO BE TELEVISED LOCALLY BY CABLE ONE

BOISE, Idaho -- Boise State University's football game at the University of Southern Mississippi this Saturday (Oct. 11) will be televised locally by Cable One on its access channel 17.  The game, which is being produced by CBS College Sports, is also available on certain satelitte packages.  Kickoff for the game is 6:04 p.m. (MT).  The game will also be broadcast on the radio by 580 KIDO (AM).  There will be no Spanish broadcast of the game.

Broncos Prep for San Jose State, Utah State at Bronco Gym

After a 1-1 split on the road the Boise State volleyball team returns home to Bronco Gym to host San Jose State and Utah State in Western Athletic Conference play. The Broncos moved to 5-10 overall during the weekend, including a 2-3 WAC record. In their five WAC matches played this season, Boise State earned one of their wins over San Jose State (7-10, 3-4 WAC) and will look to go 2-0 against the Spartans this Thurs., Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. The Broncos will face Utah State (5-11, 3-2 WAC) for the first time this season on Sat., Oct. 11 at 7 p.m.

BRONCOS CONTINUE MOVING UP NATIONAL POLLS

            BOISE, Idaho – For the second straight week the Boise State University football team moved up two spots in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches top 25 rankings to No. 15 and 16, respectively.
